What is ALS? The Amazon Learning Series is an ongoing program of Saturday afternoon technical Learnings. Think of it as a information exchange forum for the engineers, by the engineers.

Who's it for?
Topics and presentations include something for everyone - expert, newbie, experienced engineer, academicians, and every one in between! This is by invitation only.

What's the format?
Usually a one hour presentation, followed by Q&A and discussion.

Where is it?
Usually at one the Amazon Software Development Centers in India ( Bangalore, Chennai or Hyderabad )

Have a great idea for a topic...
Please let us know! Share your ideas with us at als@india.amazon.com and we'll work to organise a presentation on that subject.

Know of someone who may be interested in attending this Learning Series?
Do let us know by directing them to als@india.amazon.com and we'll try our best to invite them to this event. Since we are planning to have this on an ongoing basis, we could invite your referrals to the next event.

What is it like to be at Amazon
" I like two things at Amazon:
a) It's an ideal place to learn - with smart engineers and a good work culture.
b) It provides ample space to be creative, innovative and to use & learn new technologies by providing complete ownership on projects. "
