We work on areas core to the Amazon.com business with END-TO-END Ownership

Amazon Development Centre India is working in several different areas core to the Amazon.com business. This includes building software and applications for the Amazon sites across the world as well as core development in the space of web services, search and digital products.

Teams in our Development Centers comprise of outstanding software engineers and researchers, product visionaries and leaders with proven experiences at some of the most recognized universities and companies and collaborate as part of small, focused teams (also referred to as 2-Pizza Teams internally) with end-to-end ownership.

We start with our customers and work backwards. We are focused on solving some really challenging, complex problems in large-scale computing within the context of real customers.

Everything we are involved in is focused on innovating in the space we are in. We are focused on some of the biggest game-changing initiatives where innovation is the key to success and the environment that we work plays an important role in getting us in the zone [1].

Innovation is a tricky thing. Creativity can never be forced. That creativity needs a free mind and an environment that encourages new ideas is an obvious and almost an overstated fact [2].
